Now that you have long, thick, gorgeous lashes, here are some easy instructions and tips to properly care for them so that they remain beautiful.
Remember to schedule a touch-up appointment every two weeks to fill in the areas where the natural lash has fallen out and new lashes are growing in.
Please be sure to keep your lashes clean by rinsing them with clean water.
Keep the lash-line clean and clear of makeup.
Avoid hot steam from the shower, sauna, and kitchen.
Leave them alone! Be gentle with your new lashes.
Do not rub your eyes excessively.
Do not wear any mascara or use a lash curler.
Do not pull or tug at them.
Avoid cleansers, lotions, and eye makeup removers with an oil, petroleum, or glycol base.
These products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Instead, we suggest using a diluted baby shampoo or Sterilid to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line. It is extremely important for the health of your natural eyelashes to clean and remove makeup from them on a daily basis!
Avoid excessive exposure to steam (steam rooms, saunas, face steamers, etc.).
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler. Instead, use a heated eyelash curler sparingly. Prolonged heat to lashes may cause them to come loose prematurely.
Do not use waterproof mascara. The ingredients in waterproof mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and your lashes will fall off. Most clients do not feel the need to apply any mascara, but if you feel you must wear it, use only water-based mascara.
Apply mascara only to your lash tips. Application at the lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line.
