What if I need a touch-up on a lash set created from another studio?

There is no one way to apply eyelash extensions, and for this reason, each lash artist has an  individual way of styling and applying eyelash extensions. For you to receive our best service, it’s best to have a new set applied rather than receiving a lash touch up on a set created from another studio.

Each service begins with a consultation for the understanding of your desired look. The previous set can be removed prior to your lash application. The charge for removal is $25. Lash removal due to unacceptable work is $75-90; it takes a lot of work to properly and healthily remove the extension without damage or loss of your natural lashes. We are happy to consult as well. If you are coming from a lash artist who uses our line, Borboleta Beauty, then there is a chance we can work with your lashes as a touch up guest. The reason for that is the make of the lash extension and adhesive would be the same, and we know it’s top notch quality which gives us peace of mind.

– Lifts lashes from the root
– Reduces over-curling of the lashes

– Opens the eyes – enhancing the natural lashes

– Suitable for short or long lashes
– hygienic – no wastage – fast processing

Now that you have long, thick, gorgeous lashes, here are some easy instructions and tips to properly care for them so that they remain beautiful.

Remember to schedule a touch-up appointment every two weeks to fill in the areas where the natural lash has fallen out and new lashes are growing in.

The First 48 Hours

Please be sure to keep your lashes clean by rinsing them with clean water.
Keep the lash-line clean and clear of makeup.
Avoid hot steam from the shower, sauna, and kitchen.
Leave them alone! Be gentle with your new lashes.
Do not rub your eyes excessively.
Do not wear any mascara or use a lash curler.
Do not pull or tug at them.

After 48 Hours

Avoid cleansers, lotions, and eye makeup removers with an oil, petroleum, or glycol base.
These products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Instead, we suggest using a diluted baby shampoo or Sterilid to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line. It is extremely important for the health of your natural eyelashes to clean and remove makeup from them on a daily basis!

Avoid excessive exposure to steam (steam rooms, saunas, face steamers, etc.).
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler. Instead, use a heated eyelash curler sparingly. Prolonged heat to lashes may cause them to come loose prematurely.

Do not use waterproof mascara. The ingredients in waterproof mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and your lashes will fall off. Most clients do not feel the need to apply any mascara, but if you feel you must wear it, use only water-based mascara.

Apply mascara only to your lash tips. Application at the lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line.
